Tallow is a traditional skincare ingredient made from carefully rendered beef fat and has been used in soapmaking for generations. We use triple-rendered, purified grass-fed and grass-finished tallow to create luxurious handcrafted soaps with a rich, creamy lather, long-lasting performance and a gentle, nourishing cleanse.

Tallow is naturally rich in skin-loving fatty acids and vitamins A, D, E and K. Because its composition closely resembles the skin's natural oils, it helps leave skin feeling soft, hydrated and comfortable. While many people enjoy its nourishing properties, every skin type is different, so we recommend reviewing the ingredient list and patch testing if you have sensitive skin or allergies.

With proper care, each handcrafted bar typically lasts 6–8 weeks, depending on frequency of use. To maximise its lifespan, allow your soap to dry between uses on a well-draining soap dish.

Our handcrafted soap bars are hand cut to approximately 2.5 cm thick and typically weigh 120–140 g each. Because every loaf is handmade and individually cut, slight variations in size, weight and appearance are part of their unique artisan character.

A full soap loaf generally produces around 9 bars, with a finished weight of approximately 1.08–1.26 kg, depending on the cut and curing process.

Every Tallow Me Softly soap is handcrafted in small batches in Perth, Western Australia, using traditional cold process soapmaking methods. We carefully select grass-fed tallow, nourishing plant oils, rich butters, natural clays and premium fragrances or essential oils to create bars that are gentle, long-lasting and beautifully creamy.

Each soap is poured, cut and cured by hand, with every bar hand-cut to approximately 2.5 cm thick and weighing around 130 g. Because every batch is individually handcrafted, slight variations in colour, pattern and weight are part of what makes each bar unique.
